We Have Moved To Wisma HELP, Damansara Heights

The Malaysian Public Library (MPL) is a library previously located in Kampung Attap, KL. This library is now located on the 2nd floor, Wisma HELP, Jalan Dungun, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur. An Opening Ceremony held on march of 2022 and the library re-open again to public. All are welcomed to visit the MPL library at this new location.

MPL was established in 1955 to encourage reading amongst the community. In addition, it also aims to preserve the Chinese culture and heritage. MPL has over 60,000 books, mostly in Chinese which include classical and modern literature.

马六甲的Wangkang 是从中国闽南流传到南洋的王舡/王船。
Wangkang 在2020年12月已经是非物质文化遗产，与王船原乡的中国联名申报成功已經2周年。
在我国，知道这事的人不多，看过Wangkang真实盛况的人更少。
马六甲的Wangkang是不定期举办的，一般是十多年才一次，很难有机会看到。

12月有学校假期，也是旅游的高峰旺季。加上Wangkang is comming to town，在勇全殿负责人的积极配合下，【讲古堂】的12月就是“Wangkang月”。【讲古堂】将在12月10日的第二个星期日举办“Wangkang与勇全殿”的第一個“现场导览”並将连续在12月接下來的周日都举办，一共有4场！很多很多的功课我们做，现场你们只负责倾听这世界级的精彩故事，观赏盛况进行前夕即将起跑的紧张一刻。勇全殿的Wangkang负责人将会亲自为大家讲解。（也刚好是圣旦节前夕和元旦前夕哦）

【讲古堂】藉此难得机会，集合平凡的我们，大家一起来参观，不要错过。说难得，是因为平日都是“大人物”才有这样的殊荣。（中港台和世界各地的许多学者专者官员等都在凖备飞越大洋来参与马六甲这次的Wangkang盛会，我们是在地人怎能错过呢？）然后2024年的1月1日开始到1月11日，一连12天都有各项庆典展开。这次的 “合安号” Wangkang盛典凖备了两三年。很多年举行一次的马六甲Wangkang节目丰富精彩，令人目不暇给。当你1月再去看这些如火般热烈的Wangkang 盛典时，参加过【讲古堂】现场导览的大家，就会有更深的感受、拍的照片更有深度和穿透力。

精英大学战斗游戏-精战是以结合游戏与解密的形式来考验玩家体力，脑力，勇气的大型侦探类游戏。同时，希望玩家能在闯关的过程中领悟出主题所要传递的社会讯息。2023年精战的活动日期于盂兰节后，盂兰节原是老一辈所注重的大型祭祀活动之一，但伴随着时代所带来的便利，线上祭祀、代理服务等的出现也随之取代了原先繁琐的祭祀程序。因此，许多年轻一辈对于传统的祭祀活动的了解少之又少，今年精战的主题——失落的葬礼不仅能让玩家更加了解传统的葬礼习俗，同时还能认识到不同籍贯的葬礼文化。

HELP University Battle Game – HELP Battle is a large-scale detective game that combines gaming and decryption to test players’ physical strength, mental prowess, and courage. At the same time, it aims for players to comprehend the social messages conveyed by the game’s theme during the challenge stages.

In 2023, the HELP Battle event is scheduled to take place after the Hungry Ghost Festival. The Hungry Ghost Festival used to be one of the significant ceremonial events cherished by the older generation. However, with the conveniences brought about by modern times, online rituals and proxy services have emerged, replacing the cumbersome traditional rituals.

As a result, the younger generation has very limited knowledge of traditional ceremonial activities. This year’s theme for the HELP Battle, “The Lost Funeral,” not only allows players to gain a better understanding of traditional funeral customs but also introduces them to the funeral cultures of different regions.
