马来西亚华人是海外华裔中，保持和传承中华文化传统最完整的族群！因此在马来西亚时常可以看到中华文化非常浓厚的传统节日及宗教庆典活动的出现。
马来西亚华人的祖先大多来自福建省，广东省，海南省以及广西省，因此很好的传承了优良的传统中华文化，并且一直在马来西亚致力推广和发扬华人的各大传统节日，和宗教庆典。
几乎每个月份，都可以看到大马华人在庆祝着传统节日或宗教庆典。比如农历新年以及中秋节期间，大街小巷挂满了红红的灯笼；中元节期间满街的彩旗，以及歌台和戏班酬神；九皇爷诞期间的大街小巷黄旗飘飘，素食档口的各种美食也让人垂涎三尺！可见马来西亚华人真的非常热爱传统文化和节日，并且一直在努力传承着。
华人的传统节日繁多，我们列出了其中比较重视的节日和宗教庆典，若有遗漏劳烦告知，我们将尽快补上。
